چکیده
Connected Vehicles (CV) share information among themselves and with the infrastructure, which contains parameters such as location, speed, acceleration, heading, status of majority vehicle systems. This paper assesses an algorithm for emergency vehicles preemption, aims to prioritize through signalized intersections, while minimizing negative impacts on other vehicular traffic. The is based constant exchange information, expected arrival time accurate coordinates speed vehicles, current signal at downstream intersection. algorithms are created tested in VISSIM microsimulation a test-case network consisting ten intersections along State Street Salt Lake City, Utah. proposed can reduce delays by up 36 % increase their speeds excess 50% busy urban corridors, minimal

Emergency Vehicle is one of the rescue resources in a city. It is important to ensure safe and rapid emergency operations in case of emergency calls. This paper presents a signal priority control strategy for emergency vehicle operations in urban roads. The preset plans are discussed first to provide an optimal route considering the one-way coordinated signal setting, which focuses on the green...
متن کاملReliable Navigation for Autonomous Vehicles in Connected Vehicle Environments by using Multi-agent Sensor Fusion
The age of intelligent vehicles is here, and with the rise in autonomous navigation we face a new challenge in finding ways to increase the safety and reliability of navigation for autonomous vehicles in dynamically changing environments. To date, most methodologies in autonomous navigation mainly rely on the data feed from local sensors. However, erroneous measurements in sensor data might red...
